Behind the Taxi Stand is a Home.

The ultimate edge condition on a societal level in western culture is caused by how wealth is distributed. I wished to further discover the division the train caused. I did not have to travel far, to go behind the buildings' facade was to experience new events. One of the more modern offshoots of the traditional gypsy is the person living out of their cars. There is a broken down car which somebody is living in. With the modern affluence of automobiles, its no small wonder that many homeless are finding shelter in automobiles. Sam Davis is person who has written about interesting solutions, one of those he researched is Dignity Village, which is appealing because a lot of helping should not be joined with chastising our fellow man. Around the corner, there is a little sign saying 'No Vehicles', I guess this means no vehicles on the sidewalk, but it's very presence blurs the idea that sidewalk are only for people. The act of putting the sign there condones someone parking their car on a sidewalk elsewhere in Carbondale.
